The SeaNic Process: Capturing Fine Antler Detail

Every "Stags in the Forest" shirt is hand-printed in our small home studio in Teignmouth, Devon. To capture the majestic silhouettes of the deer, we utilise a meticulous, artisan screen-printing process:

• Precision Stencils: The intricate antlers and the layering of the forest canopy require high levels of detail. We translate the design into a Yupo paper stencil, precision-cut on our Cricut to ensure every line of the artwork is faithfully reproduced.
• Eco-Friendly Water-Based Inks: We print using eco-friendly, vegan water-based inks in complementary tones. These inks sink into the fibres of the cotton rather than sitting on top like a plastic transfer. This creates a "vintage" feel where the stag design becomes part of the shirt, ensuring it won't crack or peel even after a muddy day on the trails.
• One-of-a-Kind Prints: Because Tony and Nic hand-pull every print, the ink density on the "Stags" design varies slightly from shirt to shirt. This means your t-shirt is as unique as a real-world encounter with a wild deer.
